More reasons to recycle
1. Enjoy more free space by cleaning out unused clutter.
2. Get a little quick and easy cash for a broken or unused moped, scooter,
motorcycle engine, or parts.
3. Save yourself the time-consuming low-paid hassle of trying to trying to part
out your item at craigslist
(often with minimal or no local demand) or
eBay (with limited sales, high listing prices and/or low
liquidation prices, sales commission fees, and the hassle of parting out your
moped/scooter and separately shipping each and every item you sell).
If you have a good paying job, leave the much lower-paid and slower to sell
part-out work to someone else.
4. Unpaid time-consuming part-out work often requires special tools that most
people do not own. (In addition to adjustable
wrenches and screwdrivers, part out work can require metric sockets, a 3/8"
socket wrench, a 1/4" socket wrench, allen/hex wrenches and/or sockets, an impact
driver (i.e., a hi-torque screwdriver) and a hammer, pry bars, snap
ring pliers, and very hi-torque torque wrenches, breaker bars, and/or an
electric impact wrench to remove stubborn nuts/bolts. Parting out a
moped, scooter, or motorcycle engine is even more difficult. Motorcycle engine bolts are often more
heavily torqued and harder to remove, and parting out an engine requires a
flywheel holder, a special flywheel puller, larger metric sockets, and a crankcase splitter.)
5. Help your fellow moped, scooter, or motorcycle riders by recycling your
moped, 50cc scooter, or motorcycle engine and parts. After I eventually recycle
it, part it out, and list its parts for sale, your fellow riders will enjoy
a larger selection of used parts for sale on the Internet. I
have my own $30/month Internet store, so I can afford to offer a much larger selection of
used parts for sale than anyone could afford to temporarily list at eBay.
(Note: I intend to recycle or repair whatever you recycle, but I am not
guaranteeing I will recycle each and every item dropped off for recycling.)
6. Help the economy and the environment by recycling instead of junking your old
moped, scooter, or motorcycle engine.
If you have an old unused or
broken moped or 50cc scooter, an unused motorcycle engine, leftover motorcycle parts,
or any other leftover parts that I can recycle, please
recycle your old unused moped, 50cc scooter, motorcycle engine, or motorcycle parts.
Thanks for recycling.
